For a correct understanding of its diversity and growth, MAQcenter needed to change the concept that it had as a company dedicated solely to the distribution of machine tools. Therefore, the main challenge was to keep the powerful heritage and good perception that already had the brand and elevate them to a new level of large multi-industrial company.
The new visual identity respects much of the heritage of the old identity, although focus in a new direction. The new logo is more dynamic, the logo is free from the container while maintaining the concept of turning, instead of the circle that surrounded the old logo, now it is expressed in the letter Q, symbolizing rhombic insert turning in a circle.
In the logo remains the mythical blue, recognized and associated with the brand. It remains precisely in the blue dot up the letter Q, symbolizing the word that follows, center, referring as well to the brand slogan, "The center of your solutions"
MAQ letters are emphasized, with strong lines and black color, especially to highlight the duality of words that make up the name of the company, and also to highlight a logo that is used in abbreviated form as MAQ letters with the blue dot.
MAQcenter, changed its corporate image with the desire to make a step forward, enhance modern and enterprising character of the company without forgetting the traditional values that characterize his long career, which include the vocation of service to companies, innovation or teamwork.
The new image has been introduced gradually according to a plan designed to facilitate a smooth transition between the current and the future identity.
The new logo has already been shown for the first time BIEMH 2012 where it was received with very positive feedback.
After modifying the facilities, transport and work equipment, culminates with the presentation of a clean and practical web. Especially focused on showing all the solutions provided by MAQcenter to the machining companies. It's is possible to reach the necessary solution through several mechanisms, either looking for product type, by brand, by sector or by model name.
MAQcenter commissioned the design of the new corporate image to the designer ARTNAU www.artnau.es , who is already working with the company on a regular basis.
